Filming of a short sequence for the documentary 'The Ultimate Guide to Tigers', produced by 'mike birkheads associates'. Application of a mystical tattoo by an 'Ahjan', a respected guru or teacher, to a Thai mans chest. A needle is bound to a small stick, the application of the ink under the skin is done by hand. The pictures look maybe crude, but it's the way how to apply this magical tatoo. After the tattoo with the picture of a tiger and writing of letters are completed, the Ahjan put himself and the receiver of the tattoo in trance. He calls the spirit of a tiger to get bound into the magical tattoo.

Dreharbeiten zu einer kurze Sequenz für den Dokumentarfilm 'The Ultimate Guide to Tigers' von 'mike birkheads associates'. Wir drehten das anbringen einer magischen Tiger-Tätowierung auf die Brust eines Thailänders. Ein solches magisches Tattoo kann nur durch einen 'Ahjan', einen hohen Lehrer oder Guru, gemacht werden. Eine grosse Nadel ist an einem Stab angebracht, die Tinte wird von Hand unter die Haut gebracht. Die Zeichnung des Tigers ist entsprechend grob, aber sehr speziell. Nachdem die Tätowierung und die Schriftzeichen fertig sind, verstetzt der Ahjan sich selbst und dann den Empfänger der Tätowierung in Trance. Er ruft den Geist eines Tigers herbei um ihn an das magische Tattoo zu binden.
